Ian provides general farm consultancy advice to clients located through Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, with a particular specialism in livestock. The advice provided is focused on subsidy applications, grants, environmental and conservation schemes, together with compliance.

Qualifications

HND in Agriculture from Harper Adams University College

Training & Experience

Over 20 years of experience within a farm advisory role in the Scottish Borders.
Direct practical experience operating a farming business in North Northumberland including pedigree flocks of performance recorded Texel and Suffolk sheep, alongside a commercial flock.
Experienced in rotational grazing systems.
Trustee and Chairman of Glendale Agricultural Society
Member of the Breed Development Committee for the Texel Sheep Society.
